I had an incredible stay at Deer Park, beautifully positioned by the Giritale Reservoir. The room was spacious and had a stunning open-air bathroom, and the atmosphere of the hotel made for a relaxing escape. The dining options were delightful with a generous variety, although I would have loved to see even more choices. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, perfect for exploring the nearby Polonnaruwa ruins, but I did notice the dining could use a bit of improvement in variety.
